Hello, I’m Jonathan Underwood at the all new Franklin Kia. It is my pleasure to introduce to you the all new Kia Sorento. It’s one of the most powerful SUV’s on the market in the family class.
Let’s take a look under the hood really quick. Ta-da! This is going to be our v-6 290 horse power GDi engine. GDi stands for gasoline direct injection. The fuel is put in the cylinders at 1600psi so it’s a very fine mist. So when it hits your spark plug you get better combustion, but use less fuel. Of course with a V-6 horse power it is going to be surprising how much fuel efficiency you get as well as the horse power.
Something else I want to show you is that it also comes with break away motor mounts. So, that in the event of a front end collision, the engine is actually made to break away and go up underneath the vehicle instead of going through and possible hurting the driver or passenger. Which is a huge safety feature. On this vehicle it also has an impressive back seat. Extremely spacious. Leg room for anybody that needs it. It also has not only a USB port but a 12volt port as well as your traditional plug in. So, if you have anything like a laptop or anything that requires a traditional plug in it will work for you as well. If you’ve got your kids in the back seat on a bright day, don’t want that sun to get into their eyes, it’s already build into the door. A nice little sunshade.
On some models it even has a smart power lift gate. So, just by having the keys in my pocket it will go ahead and lift up without even having to use my hands. Tada! To easily close it there is a button right there, all you have to do is press that and it will automatically fold down as well. And if you need more passengers in the back, all you have to do is pull here and pull here and you’ve got room for 2 more passengers. If you don’t need the two passengers in the back and need more space, all you have to do is pull this lever right here folds down right there on that side. One on this side and you’ve easily got enough room for anything that you may need to carry.
It really gets amazing when you look at all of the features that come on the inside. It’s very catered to how a driver wants to be able to interact with their vehicle in a very easy and effective way. You have your navigation, heated and cooling seats, heated steering wheel, you even have dual temperature control. So the driver and the passengers can have separate temperatures depending on whichever they would like it to be. You have your USB port as well as auxiliary port so you can charge your cell phone or your iPad or your iPod and listen to music at the same time. It also comes with an auto dimming mirror. You even have a high definition back up camera so you can easily see whats behind you. This particular one also comes with navigation as well as a touch screen radio system. It even comes with a great feature that Kia has called the UVO. UVO is one hundred percent free to all of our customers and you can do incredible things like a parking reminder, you can do a vehicle diagnostic, and even have it call roadside assistance for you if you do need roadside assistance which it comes with the 5 year – 60,000 miles with Kia.
