Hi again folks. This is Jonathan Underwood at Franklin Kia. Just wanted to show you a little bit of the luxury items that are available on the all new redesigned 2016 Kia Optima. One of my personal favorites is the smart adaptive cruise control. What that will do is that if you are going on the interstate you have your cruise control set at 70 miles per hour. If somebody cuts in front of you and they’re doing 65 miles per hour without even applying the break your vehicle will automatically slow down. It will sense them in front of you to prevent a collision. And then when that vehicle gets out of your lane or if you go around them without pressing the gas pedal or the brake, it will automatically bring you back up to the 70 mile per hour that you’ve set it on.
Also has the avaliable paddle shifters. As well as a heated steering wheel, heated and cooling seats for both the driver and the passenger. It also has a feature on here called auto hold and what that does when you have that set if ever you come to a complete stop and you can press the brake, it will bring the vehicle even if your foot is not on the brake – it will leave it in the brake mode with the brake pressed. That’s a huge thing in stop and go traffic or if you go through a fast food line with the vehicles there. You just have to apply the brake that one time instead of sitting there monitoring it the whole time and keep your vehicle parked as well.
